Magic Letters

Today, we had so much fun revealing "magic letters" using coloured water (we used watered down liquid watercolours but diluted puck paint-type paints would work well, too). We rubbed our sponges over white paper with white crayon letters written on them. I found this wonderful crayon resist paint idea on No Time For Flashcards and will be using it for numbers, shapes, and creative artwork in future. The way the students lit up with excitement as their letters were revealed was truly magical! Thank you so much to our Mommy Teacher, Mme. Sprague, for playing at the art centre with us today!
