Measuring the World

 Today we went outside to measure the world...
We talked about how many cubes it would take to measure certain things...

 Sometimes we only needed a few cubes to measure things...








 Sometimes we needed several cubes...



 


 Sometimes we needed to add more cubes...



 Sometimes we needed to take some cubes away...



Sometimes we didn't have enough cubes for the things we wanted to measure...
 And sometimes, we didn't have enough hands to measure with!

    There are not enough cubes in this world to measure how sweet these children are! What an engaging activity on such a beautiful day.
