Elf Jr.

We were so lucky today to be able to attend Sandwich Secondary's production of Elf Jr.! Merci beaucoup to Mme. Varsa-Miller for organizing the trip, to the parents who joined us to assist, and to the cast and crew for a fabulous show!
Of course, getting there was part of the fun...

The show was very exciting! It told the story of an elf who helps his family and friends remember the true meaning of Christmas and understand what really makes Santa's sleigh fly...

Afterwards, everyone expressed what they liked about the show:
"The boy. Yeah the elf because he sounded really good and I liked his whole family actually."
"I liked the boy that threw snow on the real Santa."
"I liked the elf when he tickled the fake Santa Clause."
"When the green guy (sang)."
"I liked the elf when he (fought) Santa because he was really funny."
"I liked the Santa 'cause I saw him in the show."
"I liked it when Santa's sleigh was there 'cause Santa found his sleigh."
"I liked the part when Santa fell down and got his beard off."

"It's not even funny for me, it's sad. I didn't like that when the elf said, 'I'm a cotton-headed chicken nuggets.' I didn't really like that, it was sad."
"My favourite was Josie because she sang a lot."
"I liked the girl."
"Me too."
"Me too, three."
"I liked the girl because she had a pretty dress."

"I liked the end when they all sang because it was so good."
"I liked the whole part because the whole part I was holding my stuffed animal toy."

Merci beaucoup for a great field trip, Sandwich Secondary!

  2. Thanks to this Dellah has been doing her own little performances in our hallway, bowing at the end and slowly walking of the "stage" into the nearest bedroom. :D
